Make the most of a coaching session

Coaching can help give you a plan of attack to deal with fear of falling, fear of injury, fear/excitement of succeeding on the boulder, and the fear of failure.
Coaching can also help you  learn about your body and improve body awareness, increase concentration and focus on your bouldering.

  • Identify your goal(s) and/or area of focus. The most important thing is to be clear about your focus, so that you can set goals to work toward with your coach. 
  • Be open to new ideas and ask questions. 
  • Be prepared to be challenged. 
  • Expect change
